An 18-year-old Irish teen battling a rare form of cancer was granted a wish after her heartbreaking video went viral around the world.

On February 12th, 18-year-old Shauntelle Tynan opened up on YouTube about her battle with multi-system Langheran’s cell histiocytosis, a very rare form of cancer. $724,000 has since been raised to support the cancer treatment.

In her video, posted to YouTube on February 12th, 2017, Shauntelle pleads with the public to support her health care costs in the US, saying her specialist treatment in Houston, Texas may be her “last chance”.

Shantelle was blown away by the response to her video and was amazed when Go Fund Me confirmed hers was the largest Irish campaign to ever be held on the crowd-funding platform.
